Musician Takes a Dig at Spotify on Their $100 Million Sponsored the Joe Rogan Experience Show

Recently, Spotify found itself on the receiving end of some statements made by a Musician. Patrick Carney took a dig at Spotify. While taking a dig at the platform. Carney made a reference to The Joe Rogan Experience, which is hosted by the UFC color commentator and stand-up comedian Joe Rogan. He follows 500 bands, which means there’s no possible way that he’s gonna be listening to all 500 of those bands in even a six-month period of time — but when he does choose to listen to a song, it’s worth like 10 times, versus this person who’s listening to ‘Old Town Road’ a thousand times a day.” ADVERTISEMENT Article continues below this ad He further added, “Because Joe is actually engaging with our thing, not just streaming a song for free, like a Pavlov’s [dog], mouth salivating every time he hears ‘Old Town Road.’” While Carney may have not directly taken a dig at Joe the UFC color commentator has found him and his podcast in trouble before.
