Video: The Battle Mini-Game for Minecraft: Wii U Edition Goes Live on 21st June Nintendo Life Get ready to Nintendoom your friends in the arena by Share: A couple weeks ago, it was announced that another would be coming to . Following hot on the heels of the Super Mario Bros. Mashup Pack, this new update will include a new Battle mode where players duke it out in arenas and fight for glory. The new mode will have its own matchmaking system and support for four players locally and eight players online, so it seems this will have some longevity to it. Previously, Battle mode was confirmed to be going live sometime in June and this has since been narrowed down to 21st June. To get the fans going ahead of release, Nintendo recently posted a new trailer showing off the mode in action, and it certainly looks like a pretty good time. Check it out: on What do you think? This strikes me as uncreative, but it's something I guess.
Well, even if it was exactly the same, they couldn't just call it "Hunger Games Mode". There's a ton of legal red tape to cross there. Can't complain about a free update.
My nephews will probably enjoy this as they're both into Minecraft at the moment. Pretty slick; where's the 1.10 update stuff? Hunger craft games looks very fun especially legging it around as Nintendo characters. Has Mine craft made use of the Game pad yet? We have Mine craft on PBS so haven't gotten it on Wiig U, but Mario is tempting, and if we would play 1 person on the TV 1 on the Game pad like many of the Lego gas we'd buy this. 1 player inventory on the Game pad would be nice too. Otherwise it's not worth $30 for the same game, rather wait and get the larger world on PS4. It's great but when Will they finish the story mode for the Wii u? no For excellent Gamepad support, get Terraria instead. It's really a fantastic game, even though the graphics style is very retro. IMO, it's an amazingly good port with soooo many great Gamepad features. The best thing with the Wii U Minecraft is the Mario world. It's really full with fun stuff to do and discover. Thanks. I keep thinking Terraira is on 3DS, and forgetting about the Wii U version. We'll look into it. OK, just like Minecraft we seemed to be getting screwed again, Amazon has Terraira on PS3, PS4, Vita, Xbox360 and Xbox One for $19.99 each, and $29.99 each on Wii U and 3DS. What the...? Why should the 3DS version be more than Vita, and since when are 3DS and Wii U Games the same price? For $29.99 it should be x-buy.
