Netflix has already renewed The Witcher for a second season ahead of its first. Fans that need more Geralt in their life are in luck. Netflix has confirmed that has already been renewed for a second season even though the first has yet to be broadcast. The Witcher is an upcoming Netflix show that is based on the fantasy book series by Andrzej Sapkowski. Outside of Poland, the series is better known for its video game adaptations developed by CD Projekt Red. The series follows Geralt of Rivia, the titular Witcher, who was trained in the art of combat and had his body mutated to make him suitable for the dangerous task of killing monsters. The footage from The Witcher that has been released so far looks promising. Clearly the executives at Netflix are pleased with the final product as the official Netflix US Twitter account has confirmed that the show is already renewed for a second season. This is despite how the first season isn't even set to air until next month.
