Arozzi Forte Gaming Chair Review My Back Is Grateful

The Arozzi Forte is one of the best gaming chairs in the business, being surprisingly quick-to-assemble on top of providing comfortable support. via: Freepik/Arozzi Ever since I became a game/product reviewer, I've come to realize I've been sitting wrong my whole life. I sat on the floor to game as a kid because old controller cords didn't reach that far. I sat on my dorm bed leaning forward because who has room for a couch in a tiny dorm room? Even as an adult, I sat in front of my computer for at least eight hours a day in a decent Ikea chair. Or at least I thought it was decent. Then came Arozzi with their Forte chair.

Bye Bye Ikea

My Ikea chair was a fairly recent purchase, and I chose it specifically to be my home office/gaming chair. I forget the Swedish name given to it, but it was a pleather chair that I made sure had a sturdy back and cushiony bottom. And honestly, it served me well. It's just that the is serving me way better. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY The Forte is a pleather chair like my old one, although its design is firmly that of a gaming chair. It has those curved edges that seem to hug you from behind when you lean back, as well as well-placed pillows strapped to the lower back and neck areas of the seat. It has adjustable armrests and can recline up to 165 degrees. The support pillows are honestly my favorite thing about the Forte. They're gaming chair staples, but these ones seem to be a cut above the rest. They're supportive without being stiff, comfy without giving into the pressure of prolonged use. Of course, it's hard to say that definitively after only a few weeks of use, but so far they've been a delight. Every time I lean back I get a gentle reminder to sit a little straighter. It definitely eliminates that lower back discomfort after long sessions of gaming or writing. The other arena in which Arozzi beat Ikea (and this surprised me) was ease of assembly. The Forte actually came in five parts – the back, the seat, two pieces of the support pole, and the bottom. The arm rests were already attached to the seat, the pillows firmly in place on the back. Putting the chair together was therefore an extremely fast process. I also felt very fancy while doing it, as Arozzi included white gloves in the tool package. Sergio Solorzano I TheGamer

A Tank Of A Chair

My experience with the Arozzi Forte has been overwhelmingly positive. It offers strong support while still feeling incredibly satisfying to plop into as I start the day's work. It was easy to put together yet everything still feels well made and sturdy. I can't really find anything to criticize about Arozzi's design choices with the Forte. Even the leather, which fellow TheGamer editor Jon cited of gaming chairs in his review, isn't an issue here. The Forte doesn't really squeak or squelch when I take my seat or shift around. If I had to give one slight warning to potential customers, it's that the Forte is a heavy chair. I was able to put it together alone, but the instructions recommend two people. I certainly felt that need when I was doing things like trying to hold the back in place as I attached it to the seat. That also means it isn't the easiest piece of furniture to move around. Even with its wheels, it's just a slight bit more sluggish than my old Ikea chair. That said, it feels like a non-issue compared to the benefits this chair brings. I don't foresee moving it away from my desk anytime soon.

Invest In Your Back With The Forte

via: Arozzi Of course, quality furniture like the Arozzi Forte doesn't come cheap. The Forte is $379.99, which can be hard to swallow unless you really think about what it does for you. This isn't the chair you toss when you move to a new apartment. You'll be sitting in this thing for years, and your back will thank you for it. If you spend the majority of your time in front of a desk, you should really consider an Arozzi chair. Seriously. This is so much better than stuffing a small pillow behind your back. That upfront cost is steep, but it will save you a world of hurt down the road.
