More Players Have Platinumed Elden Ring Than God Of War

26 May 202222 April 2022 by Oisin Kuhnke Earning the platinum trophy in any game is hard, but you might be surprised to hear how many people platinumed Elden Ring. The coveted platinum trophy for any game is a sign you put the time and work in. But of course, some games are easier than others. So you might be surprised to hear that a staggering 7.9% of players have platinumed Elden Ring (thanks, GAMINGbible). ADVERT ADVERT Okay, sure, that doesn’t sound like a huge percentage. But in general most players don’t even finish games, as generally shown by trophy and achievement stats. So for almost 10% of all players to have platinumed Elden Ring is genuinely impressive. Credit: FromSoftware Even more so is the fact that it beat out 2018’s God of War, which only 4.7% of players platinumed. God of War does have its challenges but it isn’t a Souls-like, which is what makes the difference in stats so surprising. Not only that, but Elden Ring is the most platinumed FromSoftware game yet. Dark Souls 3 saw 5.3% of players get the platinum trophy, and Bloodborne saw 6.5%. ADVERT ADVERT It could be due to the fact that there are just so many people that picked up Elden Ring that contributed to that stat. But that would also mean a great deal many more that didn’t platinum it, so who’s to say. PlayStation also seems to be where it’s at for completionists. Only 0.63% of players on Xbox managed to earn all achievements. And Steam saw 3.2% of players doing so. The fighting in Ukraine is causing families to flee their homes.
