Fans have been caught in a web of nostalgia ever since Spider-Man: No Way Home was released. The movie has smashed several box-office records and has already notched $1.16 billion at the box office. The movie saw the return of Tom Holland as the titular hero but also brought back a multitude of characters from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy and Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man films.

Tobey Maguire's Peter Parker/Spider-Man last appeared in Spider-Man 3. In his last scene, he visits the diner where Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst) works and sings, and both reconcile after remaining separated for most of the movie.

Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker/Spider-Man last appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. In his last scene, he is about to battle Aleksei Sytsevich/Rhino before the end credits start.

Both the Spider-Men enter the MCU after Peter Parker botches Dr. Strange's spell. They arrive in Ned's apartment and join forces with Holland's Spider-Man.

The Green Goblin (Willem Defoe) was last seen (alive) in the climax of Spider-Man where he gets impaled by the blades of his own glider and dies on the spot. He also cameos in the OG Spider-Man trilogy as a ghost that guides his son Harry down the wrong path.

The same movie also gives us one of the most iconic lines spoken by a comic book villain. It appears in the introductory scenes of Norman Osborn/Green Goblin.

The last time fans saw Dr. Curt Connors aka the Lizard, he was holding Spider-Man from falling to his death in The Amazing Spider-Man. His Lizard form was waning and he was slowly returning to his human form.

Both, the Sandman and the Lizard are transported from their respective universes to the universe of Tom Holland's Spider-Man. While the Lizard is the first to be imprisoned by Dr. Strange, Sandman helps Spider-Man subdue Electro.

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Electro is quite reluctant when it comes to returning to his universe. He offers Spidey one of his toughest battles, and Doc Ock is needed to help defeat him.
