I imagine the cast and crew just burst into tears.

The Andrew Garfield renaissance that's happening right now? Yeah, it's not only long overdue, but completely warranted and, in fact, necessary for all of humanity.

Of course, this is largely due to (ahem, spoiler alert) his reprising the role of Peter Parker from The Amazing Spider-Man universe in Spider-Man: No Way Home, along with his starring roles in the Oscar-contending Tick, Tick...Boom! and larger-than-life biopic The Eyes of Tammy Faye.

Well, after lying to us about being in the latest MCU installment for the better part of a year (it's fine, Andrew — we understand and forgive you), the Tony Award-winning actor reflected on No Way Home for the first time.

"I think the first time we were all in the suit together, it was hilarious because it’s like just three ordinary dudes who were just actors just hanging out," Andrew told Variety about costarring with Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire. "But then also, you just become a fan and say, 'Oh my god we’re all together in the suits and we’re doing the pointing thing!'"

Of course, there was banter about the differences between each of their costumes and, uh, jokes about bulges: "There was talk about going to the bathroom and, you know, padding around the package... Tom was jealous because I have little zippers in my suit that I can get my hands out of very easily."

But Andrew added, "We would have deeper conversations, too, and talk about our experiences with the character. And to have [producer and Sony Pictures exec] Amy Pascal there, who has seen through nine movies, including Spider-Verse."

As it turns out, keeping a huge cinematic secret from the world and revisiting iconic superhero storylines lends itself to a little bit of bonding. "There’s a line I improvised in the movie, looking at [Tobey and Tom] and I tell them I love them. That was just me loving them."

Like??? This man is just so full of exuberant joy and love for his colleagues and the project he's involved in. Good for him, and he wholeheartedly deserves it!!!
