Angela Bassett Shared Her Thoughts On How Hollywood Ageism Affects Women And Why It's Redundant To Say She Looks Great "For Her Age"

Angela Bassett's career has so far spanned more than three decades. She's acted in, directed, and produced feature films, documentaries, and TV series across a range of genres, with many of those undertakings reaping critical acclaim.

We could easily fill a full-length manuscript with her achievements and already know she's often on the receiving end of commendation, through awards and nominations as well as public praise.

I can't tell you how many times ladies have come up to me and said, 'I got my groove back.' They're embracing their sensuality and youth."
