Is there anything on the planet better than a bowl of crunchy Nutri-Grain with ice-cold milk? The answer is yes. A bowl of crunchy PEANUT BUTTER flavoured Nutri-Grain with ice-cold milk.

Hameda Nafiz / Let me repeat that. PEANUT BUTTER FLAVOURED NUTRI-GRAIN.

Now I, like every other Aussie, have a deep appreciation for the crunchy good stuff — but I can't say I'd die for it. So, when I found out that they'd come out with a PB-inspired edition, I knew I had to get my hands on it...and I did.

Hameda Nafiz / You can't imagine just how excited I was to try it. Here's how that went.

First, I had to do the obvious — smell the contents of the bag to be hit with that glorious peanutty smell (don't judge me, I just love peanut butter, okay?).

Hameda Nafiz / The smell was super subtle on the peanut front, but mixed well with that sweet, caramel Nutri-Grain essence.

Then I wasted no time pouring myself a bowlful — with the perfect amount of milk, aka 30/70.

Hameda Nafiz / At this stage, all I wanted to do was eat it, but patience and my responsibility to report back to you guys won over.

And finally, I took a bite. Listen. Cereal is king at any time of day, on any day of the week, but if I was ranking this up against the OG Nutri-Grain? Peanut butter crunch forever.

Hameda Nafiz / I was expecting way more of a peanut flavour hit, but the actual taste was far more mellow and complimented the original taste of everyone's beloved cereal perfectly.

Now for the most important question — what does the milk taste like?

Hameda Nafiz / As expected, bloody HEAVENLY. If you've ever wanted peanut-flavoured milk in your life, your prayers have absolutely been answered.
