We recently asked the Community to tell us which celebrity moments were actually toxic. Here are the eye-opening results:
1. "When Vanessa Hudgens commented that people dying is 'inevitable' at the beginning of COVID."

My grandma died right after she said that, too, and her words still sting."—rrshirley90 Back in March 2020, the High School Musical star went on a rant about COVID on Instagram Live and said, "But like, it's a virus. I get it, I respect it. But at the same time, like, even if everyone gets it, like yeah, people are gonna die, which is terrible, but like, inevitable? I don't know, maybe I shouldn't be doing this right now."

@ddlovato / Via Instagram: @ddlovato The Bigg Chill responded on their own Instagram story, explaining their menu items: "We carry items for diabetics, Celiac disease, vegan, and of course have many indulgent items as well." After receiving backlash and resolving things in a private conversation with the shop via Instagram DMs, Demi apologized for the post in a video: "I’m sorry that I got the messaging wrong. I'm sorry that I may have disappointed some people," Demi said. "I walked into a situation that didn't sit right with me, my intuition said speak up about this, so I did."

CBS 8. "I can't get over how Travis Scott didn't take enough responsibility for the Astroworld tragedy. Every gig I’ve been to, if someone is down, the artist stops the show."

Travis responded, "Well, yeah, you know, I'm the face of the festival, I’m an artist," he said. "So yeah, the media is… They wanna put it on me."
