Ford Bronco Looks Like A Badass Flaunting Sasquatch Package

Sep. 07, 2020 8:10 AM ET by Karl Furlong Off-Road / 3 Comments The thicker mud-terrain tires and raised suspension will no doubt make this a popular upgrade. Months before its eventual launch, we knew that the Ford Bronco would be one of the most customizable vehicles on the market. After all, an off-road-capable vehicle needs to serve many needs and lifestyles, and that's without mentioning the many accessories available on the Jeep Wrangler, the Bronco's arch-rival. One of the most noteworthy options is the hardcore Sasquatch Package, with numerous upgrades that will allow the Bronco to tackle just about anything you can throw at it. We all want to know what the Sasquatch Pack may look like in various colors, but before Ford releases the official pics, Bronco 6G has come to the rescue. Doug/Bronco6G Doug/Bronco6G Doug/Bronco6G One of the site's administrators who goes simply by the name of Doug shared several renders of what the Bronco could look like with the Sasquatch upgrade. Immediately noticeable are the beefier mud-terrain tires, which we already know will measure 35 inches in size. We can also see black-painted wheels, which are said to be 17-inch beadlock-capable items. Some of the upgrades aren't entirely visible in these images, such as the electronic-locking axles and the positive-sensitive Bilstein dampers. The renders show some versions that have been visualized with white fender flares and a white roof, which look pretty neat. Primary color choices seen here include Area 51, Cyber Orange, Carbonized Gray, Iconic Silver, and Race Red. Doug/Bronco6G Doug/Bronco6G Doug/Bronco6G The Sasquatch Package will also bring with it a high-clearance suspension and a 4.7:1 final drive. On the downside, this package will only be compatible with the 10-speed automatic transmission. However, Ford hinted that customer preferences could see this limitation change in the future. A recently leaked survey sent to Bronco reservation holders indicated that the Sasquatch upgrade will cost $5,000, which isn't exactly cheap. Considering that the ten-speeder is already a $1,600 upgrade for the models equipped with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, it's clear that Bronco pricing can quickly escalate if you aren't careful. Still, we expect plenty of buyers to tick the box for this package anyway, ensuring that the Bronco lives up to its off-road expectations.
