Die zunehmende Komplexität und Dynamik der Umweltbedingungen, Wettbewerbsverhältnisse und Unternehmensstrukturen führt unter Verwendung computergestützter Informationssysteme auf der Ebene der Unternehmensführung häufig zur einer Informationsflut. Diesem aufkommenden Datenvolumen stehen die Informationssystemanwender (Entscheidungsträger und -vorbereiter) oft unvorbereitet gegenüber. Die Systeme bieten zudem wenig Hilfestellung bei der Suche nach einem zweckmäßigen oder „optimalen“ Analysepfad, der systemgesteuert die Ursachen für ein zu analysierendes Ergebnis aufzeigt. Einen Beitrag zur Lösung dieses Problems liefert Martin Dressler in diesem Buch. So werden innerhalb computergestützter Informationssysteme Grundlagen und Verfahren einer effizienten und systemgestützten Datenanalyse bzw. Datendisaggregation untersucht. Des weiteren gibt der Autor einen Vorschlag für ein geeignetes „Navigationssystem“. Als Entscheidungsgrundlage für den entwickelten Navigationsansatz dient der Einfluß, den ein Faktor (Entscheidungs- bzw. Umweltvariable) auf einen zu betrachtenden Sachverhalt besitzt. Back to top
