Uncharted 4 Guide How To Solve The Exploding Platform Puzzle In Chapter 19 8 February 2022 by Olly Smith During the latter chapter 19 of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Nate and Elena will find themselves in Libertalia’s underground catacombs which are filled with booby traps. Eventually, they’ll come across a series of platforms which explode when you step on the wrong one. Credit: Naughty Dog HOW TO SOLVE THE EXPLODING PLATFORM PUZZLE in uncharted 4 The exploding platform puzzle in Uncharted 4 appears during Chapter 19 “Avery’s Descent”. Nate and Elena will first find a platform that explodes when you step on the wrong tile. It essentially becomes a maze that you need to find the correct route through to the end. Lucky for you, the first part of this puzzle is a cakewalk. Look at the ground and you’ll see dozens of footprints forging a path across the platform maze. This is your route forward, so keep an eye on those markers and make your way forward to the end. It’s relatively simple, but you’re not done yet.ADVERT ADVERT There’ll be a couple of combat sequences here, including dealing with exploding mummies and large armoured enemies. You will also find a letter from Captain Tew, which will come in handy later. However, for now keep pressing on until you eventually come to the next phase of this puzzle. It’s a little trickier than before. The next set of exploding platforms are similar to before, except you now don’t have footprints to help guide your way across the room. We have a clue though! Open up Tew’s letter and flip it to view the diagrams on the back. The sigils located in the centre of each square can be found on the maze itself, while the skull and crossbones represent platforms that will explode if you step on it. Use this to navigate your way across the room and to the end of the platforms while avoiding death by any of the dangerous tiles. In order to cross this room safely, this is the route you need to take across. Start from the second-to-left platform, and head up 4 spaces. Turn right and move another 3 spaces. Turn left and move forward 1 space. Turn right and move forward another 1 space. Finally, turn left and move forward to the end to make it across safely. And that’s how you solve this puzzle in Uncharted 4.
