Guide by Lottie Lynn Guides Editor Updated on 6 Dec 2021 Touch a Cube is the third quest in the second Dark Jonesy punchcard in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8. It's hard to touch something if you don't know where it is, so, before starting this quest, you should know the cube locations. First, however, make sure you've found the scrolls in the IO Bases and recovered the Spirit Vessel using a Shadow Stone. Completing this quest for the first time will reward you with 30k XP, which will help you unlock more Battle Stars for the Season 8 Battle Pass, and, if you decide to repeat it, you'll receive a small amount of XP. Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 3 Season 3 has arrived! New additions include Reality Seeds and Saplings and riding animals, along with the new Battle Pass, characters collection and map changes. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite. Cube locations in Fortnite explained Touch a Cube is as simple as it sounds - all you have to do to complete this Fortnite quest is touch a cube. Where the cube locations are, however, is a different question. Thankfully The Convergence - a named location added to the Fortnite map on Tuesday, 19th October - is a great place to complete this quest. The Convergence is hard to miss. You can touch either the central yellow cube, also called The Queen Cube, or one of the purple cubes. These specific cubes are marked by the air flowing forth from them and have the added bonus of sending you flying upwards when touched. Touch dem cubes! The purple cubes can be easily touched by walking on the ground surrounding the yellow cube, because the majority of it are these special purple cubes. At the time of writing, there is also the Blue Cube, located north of Camp Cod, and touching it will also complete this challenge. It may take a couple of touches though, to make it count towards the challenge. With this quest under your belt, you can complete the next, destroy the Corruption Cluster and all Corruption Fragments, and the final quest - returning the Spirit Vessel to the Oracle.
