Once you've grabbed it, head for the marker and talk to the herbalist, then head out to the woods and use Witcher Sense to locate a wagon in the north-east portion of the search area. Examine it, then investigate the blood trail. Follow it to a small settlement, examine the last spot of the trail, ask the creepy peasants about the Halfling, then head back to the herbalist to complete the contract (it's all a little suspicious if you ask us.) Rose on a Red Field Level 33 (Note this quest is unlocked during the story quest: Evil's Soft First Touches) Head for the marker and then deal with the ghouls that are milling around the settlement. Next, activate your Witcher Sense and follow the scent trail. Examine the items in the hut, then head round the back to pick up the trail of footprints until you reach a dead body. Examine it, then head to the western edge of the marked area to find a second trail of footprints. Follow them, examine the prints, then follow the new trail until you reach a knights' camp. Deliver a beatdown to the inhabitants, then examine the cart for a letter. Read it, loot the hut for some diagrams, then head to the new marker. Talk to the knights outside, and then either bribe, fight, or use Axii on them. Head inside their hideout for the inevitable showdown, then head back to claim your well-earned reward. The Sword Famine and Perfidy Level 36 After the shipwreck, as you're heading towards your rendezvous, you'll come across a hidden treasure marker on the beach. Defeat the drowners and enter the hut, loot the corpse, then destroy the barrels and climb through the hatch. Loot the new corpse to unlock this quest, then read the letter to reveal the general location of hte objective. Head out to sea, dive down, and collect the loot to finish things up.
