The Type 100 seemed to get largely ignored in the weeks following launch, as it got overshadowed by behemoths like the STG44 and MP40. It's a real shame, because the Type 100 is one of the best guns in Vanguard and certainly deserves a moment in the spotlight. Thankfully, it's just as strong in Season 1 and we have everything you need to make the Type 100 a killing machine. Below, we'll cover how to make the best Type 100 loadout in Call Of Duty: Vanguard so that you can focus on getting kills and earning a V2 Rocket. As we move towards the next season, we expect Vanguard to receive frequent patches and fixes. If any of these changes impact the Type 100, we'll update this guide to let you know. Make sure to check back when Season 2 launches to find out if this Type 100 loadout has received any tweaks to fit the new meta. Watch on YouTube Best Type 100 loadout in Call Of Duty Vanguard This Type 100 loadout aims to raise the damage and fire rate to make the time-to-kill extremely fast. With this setup, it'll only take 2-3 shots to kill an enemy, so you can shred through the opposing team without breaking a sweat. Here are the attachments you need to build the best Type 100 loadout in Vanguard Season 1: Optic: Slate Reflector Muzzle: Recoil Booster Barrel: Warubachi 134mm Rapid Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop Magazine: .30 Russian Short 30 Round Mags Rear Grip: Fabric Grip Stock: Shiraishi T100 Ammo Type: Hollow Point Proficiency: Fleet Kit: Quick The key here is to raise the damage and fire rate as mentioned above, so you'll need to equip the Recoil Booster, Warubachi 134mm Rapid, .30 Russian Short 30 Round Mags and Hollow Point ammo type. The Recoil Booster and Warubachi 134mm Rapid increase the fire rate by over 100 RPM, while the .30 Russian Short 30 Round Mags almost double the Type 100's body damage. Hollow Point bullets push limb damage even further, allowing you to secure an easy kill in just a few quick shots. Raising the fire rate has a noticeable impact on recoil control and accuracy, so equip the M1941 Hand Stop and Shiraishi T100 to balance it out. While it certainly isn't built for long-range engagements, these attachments make the Type 100 extremely proficient in short-medium range encounters. To make the Type 100 optimal at close-range, we suggest combining the Shiraishi T100 stock (which also increases ADS speed) with the Fabric Grip, which improves your handling speeds across the board. Since you should mainly focus on close-quarters combat with this SMG, use Fleet and Quick to boost your movement speed and help close the distance between you and your opponents. When you need to aim, the Slate Reflector is an excellent optic that allows you to pick out nearby enemies with pinpoint accuracy. Overall this loadout gives the Type 100 a fantastic boost to damage and time-to-kill while also keeping it extremely controllable and versatile. With this gun in hand you can safely engage enemies at both close and medium range, and melt them in milliseconds. While you won't be able to laser enemies in the distance, the Type 100 is certainly accurate enough to effortlessly drop enemies at short-medium range. Secondary weapon As is the case with many of our best Vanguard loadouts, we'd recommend equipping two primary weapons. Since the Type 100 performs best at short-medium range, you should find a weapon that will help you crack skulls across the map, such as a Sniper Rifle or Marksman Rifle. The Kar98k is an exceptional long-range weapon, but the 3-Line Rifle has a lot of strengths which might suit your playstyle better. If you want a faster gun that can still pick enemies off from a distance, try the BAR. It has the perfect balance of power, range, and accuracy that will blast a hole in enemy defenses while you sit back comfortably on your side of the map. Best Type 100 Perks and Equipment Below is a list of recommended perks and equipment to use as part of this Type 100 loadout: Perk 1: Ghost Perk 2: Radar Perk 3: Overkill Lethal: Thermite Tactical: Stim None of the above choices should be very surprising. Ghost, Radar, and Overkill are our picks for the very best Perks in Call Of Duty: Vanguard. Without them, you'll be spotted by enemies on their minimaps, and won't be able to spot them on yours. And, of course, without Overkill you can't equip two primary weapons - though that's not too terrible in this case given the Type 100's versatility over multiple ranges. As for the Equipment, Thermite is a great choice with pretty much any loadout - just throw it into a doorway or pathway to zone, flush out, or outright kill enemies. And Stim is always useful just for getting you back on your feet as quickly as possible whenever you're a hair's breadth from death - which happens an awful lot in Vanguard. That's everything you need to know to create the best Type 100 loadout in Call Of Duty: Vanguard.
