You Can Fight Hunger in Our Communities

Some of the most vulnerable residents in our community will go to bed hungry, and you can do something to help change that. AARP D.C. is inviting you to participate in the second Annual AARP D.C. Food Drive on October 22nd. Purchase and donate food at the participating grocery stores or join AARP volunteers collecting donated food at the stores. Volunteer shifts are 8:30 a.m.–Noon, Noon–3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. For this and other opportunities to volunteer, email or call 202-434-7703.
