What will happen on Night Two Of TakeOver: Stand & Deliver? Congratulations to everybody involved in tonight's show - especially that last match.
Have a great rest of your week, everyone, and enjoy WrestleMania this weekend!
I'm outta here. What a show. What a match! That was incredible. The favor is returned. - WWE (@WWE) Now THAT'S undisputed. - WWE on FOX (@WWEonFOX) O'Reilly wins
RESULT: Kyle O'Reilly defeats Adam Cole This match is INCREDIBLE.
Please finish it. I'm so tired. O'Reilly hits Cole with his own finisher!! Cole STILL kicks out!! Cole goes for the Last Shot, but Kyle ducks and snags him in an ankle lock! Cole nails him with the chain to break the hold Cole goes for the pin and O'Reilly gets a shoulder up... and I mean, it just barely got off the mat. Kyle just DDT'd Cole THROUGH THE ENTRANCE RAMP The ref attempts to stop Cole from straight up murdering O'Reilly and gets punched for his trouble. He then hits Kyle with the Panama City Sunrise and goes for the pin... except he knocked out the ref, the big dummy. It kind of looks like Cole and O'Reilly are going to sit down and talk out their issues. TIRE IRON TO THE RIBS - Ja' Von York (Mr. IMPACT For WNW) (@yorkjavon) Ha ha Kyle had a piece of paper stuck to his butt Kyle is about to DDT his former buddy onto the steps, just like Adam attempted to do to him, but he just can't bring himself to do it. Adam uses the hesitation to drive Kyle into the security wall Cole attempts to DDT Kyle onto the steel steps, but O'Reilly flips over and snags him in a guillotine hold. The chain has been the breakout star of this match. O'Reilly has pulled a Hercules Hernandez-style chain out from under the ring, but Cole counters and DDTs him onto it. Take a seat, . - WWE Universe (@WWEUniverse) Cole yelling at Kyle that O'Reilly would "be nothing without [him]" and then taunts him to "show [him] what [he's] got"
So O'Reilly does. I love how even the ref is wearing all black to drive home the whole "unsanctioned" thing. I was going to do some in-depth play by play for this but so far it boils down to "Adam/Kyle attempts to murder Kyle/Adam" He's here, bay-bay. - WWE (@WWE) I kind of dig the remix of the UE theme for Adam's new entrance music. . is ready for a FIGHT. - WWE Network (@WWENetwork) Kyle O'Reilly and his new music make their entrance. Kyle is rocking out to his own music, making him look like a giant dork and I love him for it. Is Escobar now the 410 Live Champion?- ? Stephen (@view_raw) It's time for the main main event! The psychology and storytelling of Balor and Kross was off the damn charts.- ? Stephen (@view_raw) Time is up for .
Fall and pray to the NEW Champion: w/ ! - WWE on FOX (@WWEonFOX) Karrion Kross with two vicious forearms to the back of Finn's neck and then the pin.... and new champion
RESULT: Karrion Kross defeats Finn Balor to win the NXT Championship Kross looks like he's about the murder Balor Scarlett is now screaming in tongues at Kross and it seems to be working. Finn counters a charge with a Pele kick and then a Coup de Gras, but Karrion not only kicks out but reverses it into a sleeperhold Finn has had an answer for everything Kross has thrown at him, and answering with a smile on his face. Love the brains vs. brawn story they are telling so far in this match. - Rick Ucchino (@RickUcchino) Finn's music led me to think Finn was gonna do the Demon thing and then I'd have to admit I was wrong but he didn't so I don't have to so ha ha Coming up next is Finn Balor vs Karrion Kross.
Let's see what happens. A stoic .
A fired up .
An impending . - WWE Network (@WWENetwork) Ha ha I said missesses. Reed attempts a moonsault but misseses! Johnny hits One Final Beat not once but TWICE! It's enough for the win!
RESULT: Johnny Gargano defeats Bronson Reed Gargano nearly gets a One Final Beat, but Reed reverses it. Bronson is up top again, but Austin Theory attempts to break it up. Reed fights him off, but it's enough for Gargano to charge and crotch Reed onto the turnbuckle. Johnny goes for a Hurricanrana but Reed slams him down. Reed off the top and goes for the Tsunami but Gargano moves!
Or as Beth puts it, Tsu-not-so-much Johnny tries to get the Gargano Escape on Reed twice and finally gets it locked in on the third attempt. Reed still manages to get to the bottom rope to break it up. Reed has managed to nail Gargano with some pretty high impact moves but still can't get a three count. Reed got shoved ribs-first into the announce table, and he's been selling the injury ever since. Colossal
