San has given the duty to guard the Third gate, and he was fighting against Team Asuma. Still, when the other two followers, and Ichi, lost to Team Guy and Team Kurenai, San summoned both Ni and Ichi and combined them to create a chimera beast. The three rectangular markings on this man's cloak matched those on San's forehead but if the two of them were twins is unknown.
