CHAMPS

PRESENTED BY Round 3 of the 2014 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championships being held at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas, was suspended due to inclement weather at 6:45 p.m. local time Sunday. Play in Round 3 will resume at 7:30 a.m. local time (8:30 a.m. ET) Monday. Teams 16-30 on the scoreboard after the first two rounds and the high three individuals had played approximately two hours into the third round before the weather forced play to halt. Weather permitting, the 15 teams and three individuals will attempt to complete the third round in a limited time window Monday. If unable to do so, all scores in Round 3 would be declared null and void and Round 3 will be repaired to include only teams 1-15 and the six low individuals not on those teams (based on non-sudden death tiebreaking procedures) to determine the eight teams for match play and the individual champion on Monday, with Golf Channel providing coverage beginning at 2 p.m. ET. Note that due to the weather conditions, Round 4 of competition (low 40 individuals and ties) will no longer be played.
