NFL analyst calls out Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson demands they become better leaders

Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson urged to be better leaders and have had a rough start to 2022. The and superstars have struggled to lead their offenses to impactful performances this season. The Packers and Broncos are below .500 and that's largely due to the offense struggling to move the ball and get in the endzone. On Thursday's episode of ESPN's KJM, analyst Keyshawn Johnson slammed Rodgers and Wilson. He said: "Don't be a celebrity quarterback. We don't need any of those. We need battlefield commanders that are willing to fight. In and out every single day, every week in every single season. Don't be a celebrity quarterback. Lead the team. You lead your team to winning football games in every single way." Johnson was paraphrasing legendary head coach ' quote: “I don’t like celebrity quarterbacks. We don’t need those. We need battlefield commanders.” Johnson called out Rodgers and Wilson and demanded that they put their respective teams above all else and focus on being leaders in the locker room: "And that applies to two quarterbacks, Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers, in every single way. And they need to listen to that. You don't need to be a celebrity quarterback. You need to lead your team to victory. You need to encourage your teammates. You need to do all of those sort of things. And you don't need to make it about yourself. You don't need to make it about yourself. And that's where Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers, I believe, go wrong all the time." Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers face tough tests in Week 8

It promises to be a testing week for Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers. Wilson and the Broncos will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, while Rodgers and the Packers will face Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. The Jaguars have lost three straight games, but the margin of defeat in all of those losses was only one score. The Jaguars could shock the Broncos on Sunday. The Packers opened as double-digit underdogs against the Bills, a rare occurrence since Rodgers took over as the team's starting quarterback. Buffalo is averaging the second-most points this season and is conceding the fewest. Rodgers will have his work cut out against a Bills defense that has stifled every quarterback they have played this season, except Tua Tagovailoa. A bad season could get worse for two of the best players in the league. If you use any of the above quotes, please credit KJM and H/T Sportskeeda. NFL Injuries: Find out about ?
