Reports: Victor Wembanyama’s every game could be broadcast in the USA with NBA close to agreeing a deal with France's National Basketball League Metropolitans 92 v G League Ignite Victor Wembanyama has taken the basketball world by storm. The unanimous No.1 pick for the 2023 draft has not only caught the attention of many NBA greats, but even enticed the league to broadcast all of his games. It's amazing how a kid from France has made the league want to feature him on their platform. You certainly have to be an extraordinary basketball talent to pull this off. According to reports, the LNB and the NBA are about to come to an arrangement that will allow the National Basketball Association to broadcast Boulogne-Levallois Metropolitans 92 games on its new platform, which is unavailable in France at the moment. The project began to take shape on Oct. 25, but is yet to be finalized. This is a great marketing strategy for the NBA. What better way to celebrate the projected No. 1 pick than to broadcast all of his games before he enters the league? Since his visit to the United States, Victor Wembanyama has acquired a completely new media dimension. He became Slam magazine's first Frenchman on the cover since Tony Parker in 2007. Everything is falling in place for the big Frenchman. The league loves him, he's getting all the attention and teams are set to tank for him this season. Many feel that Wembanyama is the best prospect since LeBron James in 2003. He has even dethroned another highly anticipated prospect Scoot Henderson for the number one spot in the draft.

Victor Wembanyama is expected to be the first pick of the 2023 NBA Draft

Metropolitans 92 v G League Ignite Victor Wembanyama is a 7-foot-3 center who currently plays for the Metropolitans 92. No one had heard his name until his visit to the US when Wembanyama's team faced G League Ignite. Before their matchup, Ignite's Scoot Henderson was projected to be the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. Unfortunately for him, that immediately changed after facing Wembanyama. The two prospects faced each other in a battle for the number one spot in the draft. Metropolitans 92 dethroned G League Ignite in a 112-106 victory. Their matchup was something basketball fans will remember for a long time. Victor Wembanyama put up 36 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks. Scoot Henderson, on the other hand, scored 28 points, five rebounds, and nine assists. Without a doubt Henderson was on a mission to prove that he won't be outmatched by the tall Frenchman. He was ruthless inside the paint and kept attacking the basket. He also made some tough mid-rangers. However, his efforts came up short against Wembanayama. Victor Wembanyama fired from all cylinders and looked like he can do it all on the court. Wembanyama broke out his handles, made some shots from downtown, knocked down some mid-range shots and easily got the ball inside. He literally did it all. He was impeccable on defense too and dominated in an overall complete performance. Poll : 0 votes Quick Links More from Sportskeeda Thank You!
