Basketball fans from all around the world cannot wait to finally watch competitive basketball in the most prestigious league in the world. After getting a taste of what's to come during the preseason, NBA fans have Tuesday, October 18 circled on their calendars. This is when the next season will start and will bring two amazing matchups. In the first game of the 2022-23 NBA season, fans will have a chance to watch a clash between two amazing teams in the East, the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers. The Western Conference matchup will feature the LA Lakers and the reigning champions, the Golden State Warriors.

Philadelphia and Boston will open the 2022-23 NBA season

They advanced all the way to the NBA Finals and were just two wins away from winning it all. During the season opener, they will host the Philadelphia 76ers in TD Garden. The 2022-23 NBA season will start at 7:30 PM Eastern Time in Boston as the two amazing teams will show us what they have. Unfortunately, the Celtics will be without some of their key players and will be without Ime Udoka, their head coach.
