NFL fans left outraged as Eagles' Devon Allen is disqualified from World Athletics Championships World Athletics Championships Oregon22 - Day Three Wide receiver Devon Allen, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL, is currently competing in the World Athletics Championships for the United States. The US recently took home nine medals in one of the best athletic displays for the country in history. But Devon Allen’s false start in the 110m hurdles final prevented the US from making it 10/10. Allen was ruled to have started a tad too soon. A reaction time of less than 0.1 is considered a false start and Allen's reaction time in the final was 0.099. Former NFL star Robert Griffin III and several fans thought it was an unfair disqualification. They took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the matter. Devon Allen SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN DISQUALIFIED.
