Death Stranding s Official Spotify Playlist Will Make Timefall

Kojima Productions has shared the official playlist to Death Stranding on Spotify. On Spotify today, developer Kojima Productions has compiled a list of songs together in what it is calling the : Timefall playlist. Headlined by tracks from CHVRCHES (who are providing the ), it's an eclectic list of tunes that likely have more in common with atmosphere than lyrics. There are 29 tracks on the playlist with artists like The Neighbourhood, Khalid, Low Roar, and Apocalyptica all bringing their signature songs into the fold. Surprisingly, there are very few popular songs on with, with CHVRCHES likely being the one band most people will recognize. You can currently stream the soundtrack if you have an account. Creating an account is free, though you'll have to suffer through commercials. It's a small concession to make if you need to ingest more Death Stranding in the absence of the game's official release. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY Source: GamesRadar Death Stranding is but mere weeks away from release and fans don't have much to make the time pass. Despite lengthy videos going over various features in the game, Kojima Productions has been tight-lipped about plot details and specifics. It's a rare thing in this modern era of information overload. One solace that fans have taken is listening to some tracks that director Hideo Kojima has been sharing on Twitter over the last few years. Music has always played a big part in Kojima's games, so there was a chance that these different songs could have found a home in Death Stranding. It's hard to keep up with all of the things going on in Kojima's mind, but he's never been one to blindly praise what he enjoys. The man is a lover of media, which is clearly evident in all the nods and winks he gives to various forms of pop-culture in the Metal Gear series. Venom Snake's squad was called "Diamond Dogs" for crying out loud! Whether Death Stranding will continue that trend or not, the game's soundtrack certainly evokes the same love that Kojima has for quirky songs. Hopefully, there's some original compositions there, because it'd be a real shame for this Death Stranding to succumb to modern Hollywood tropes. Source:
