WWE 2K20 How To Perform Special Actions And OMG Moments
WWE 2K20 is finally here, and players who have had a chance to play the game will have noticed 2K has switched up the controls. via YouTube is finally here, and players who have had a chance to play the game will have noticed 2K has switched up the controls a little compared to previous years. Instead of hitting the right trigger to reverse moves, players now need to press triangle or Y, depending on which console you're playing the game on. The buttons used to perform signature and finishing moves has also changed. Players now need to press square and cross (or X and A) at the same time to pull them off, which isn't as awkward as it sounds. Players will also need to press the same two buttons when prompted if they want to perform a Superstar's Comeback. As in previous iterations of WWE 2K, the Comeback function is activated when a Superstar has been beaten down severely, almost to the point of no return. Should a player reach that point, 2K20 will flash up a visual prompt signaling that your comeback can be activated. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY via PC Invasion After pressing the two buttons, players will need to perform a move to get the Comeback started (it's normally something simple like grappling the opponent). The same mini-game as players will have seen in previous editions of WWE 2K will begin in which players will need to press the right button at the right time two or three times in a row to keep the comeback going.
All Hail The Ring Breaker
The other big change to WWE 2K20's controls comes in the form of OMG! Moments. Yes, they're back, and they can be the moments in the match that will be the most memorable once the dust has settled. All OMG! Moments require at least one stored finisher, and four of them on this year's game will need two finishers stored before a player can perform them. To use an OMG! Moment, players will need to press triangle and circle/B and Y. via YouTube There are too many OMG! Moments in WWE 2K20 to walk through how to do each and every one, but we have selected a few of the more interesting ones which are definitely worth using. Ring breaker returns and is a move fans old and new will have seen used sparingly on WWE television. This OMG! Moment can only happen between two super heavyweights (players can check which category Superstars fall into on the character selection screen). Once a player has a finisher, whip your opponent into the turnbuckle and perform the OMG! Moment. The Superstar will perform a Superplex, causing the ring to implode and the match to end.
Adding Avalanche Makes Every Move Better
While most of the OMG! Moments have been carried over from previous games, there are two new additions to the list in WWE 2K20. The Avalanche Spanish Fly and Avalanche Poison Rana. Both are easy to perform and make for quite incredible moments when executed. Each move requires just one stored finisher, and can be performed by whipping your opponent into the turnbuckle and pressing triangle and circle(Y and B) when prompted. via Reddit There are 37 OMG! Moments to be discovered in WWE 2K20 in total. Some can only be performed once per match, like the super heavyweight superplex and the suicide dive. Others are specific to one wrestler such as Roman Reigns' drive-by dropkick, and Cesaro's King of Swing. However, players are able to assign these moves to wrestlers they create in-game. Just don't go trying to perform a Yes! Lock with a kendo stick unless you're Daniel Bryan, as if you haven't made the necessary tweaks, no one else in WWE 2K20 is programmed to pull that off.
