10 Ways to Grind Reputation with the Argent Dawn
Grinding is one of the most important elements of Classic World of Warcraft, and here's how to do it with Agent Dawn. Part of the challenge in is the rep players . There are countless guides about how to grind reputation, with certain factions for special rewards, loot, and quests. One of the most popular of these factions is the Argent Dawn, a neutral organization that welcomes any race to help fight the invading Scourge. The Argent Dawn isn't just an organization that welcomes anyone willing to fight the undead. They're also connected to several prominent historical figures in World of Warcraft and start some of the game's most notorious chain quests, along with granting the player access to one of the game's most brutal and infamous raid dungeons. It all starts at 50 when a player's 'toon is finally high enough level to accept the quests at the Bulwark and enter the western Plaguelands to actually get them done. The Argent Dawn Commission allows players to collect Scourgestones whenever they're killing undead in the or any of the dungeons in those zones. Players can grind rep before this point with certain quests, but they won't be able to collect Scourgestones without this trinket. Eventually, players can upgrade it to a Rune of the Dawn or a Seal of the Dawn, a trinket that not only gives players Scourgestones but also grants a buff when fighting against the undead. The Cauldrons
Most players start their careers fighting the Scourge as a member of the Argent Dawn with a quest chain in the Western Plaguelands involving cauldrons, farmsteads, and a Scourge plot involving a unique plague. Players will earn experience points and reputation. It's not just about completing the quests, it's also about collecting those Scourgestones, which players can turn in for more experience or keep and trade for gear. Scholomance
Scholomance is a prominent landmark in the Western Plaguelands, looming over the ruins of Lordaeron from the mysterious island of . This dungeon is an important place to prepare for endgame in all kinds of ways, so players coming here whether you like it or not. Players can gather all three varieties of Scorgestones here and grind rep until Honored, all while collecting some BiS gear. The lowest level of Scourgetones you can pick up, these drop from all the undead mobs in the Eastern and Western Plaguelands. Even those puny skeletons that wander around the fields. They're the easiest to collect but also the least valuable. Players can trade these in stacks of 20 for Argent Dawn Valor Tokens. These mobs will also grant reputation until players reach Friendly. Invader s Scourgestones
These stones only drop from elite mobs, so they're more valuable and harder to find than the Minion stones. There are elite mobs in the Eastern and Western Plaguelands, but there is more to be found in in both zones. Other members of the party will be grind rep as well, but enough of these will drop that players can take turns picking them up. Players can be nice and remind their friends at the beginning to put on their trinkets, or be a jerk and keep it, and more of the stones, to themselves, which they can bring back in stacks of 10. Corruptor s Scourgestones
Unlike the Minion and Invader stones which look like simple pieces of grey stone, these items are crowned with a grinning skull and coated with gold. They only drop from bosses, so players only see a few Corruptor s Scourgestones outside of the dungeons. They're so valuable that players can turn them in one at a time. One of the few mobs outside of a dungeon that drops a Corruptor's Scourgestone is Araj the Summoner in the Ruins of Lordaeron. The Dread Citadel
This is one of the last quests players can do at endgame and the character must have at least Honored reputation with the Argent Dawn in order to begin it. By the time a player is ready to walk the halls of Naxxramas, they're 'toon will be at that point already or very close to it. Like many other , players need to be attuned into order to enter the dungeon, and that's what this quest is about. It also awards 200 reputation points. The Redpath Saga
The tragic story of the Redpath Family starts with the ghost of a little girl looking for her doll, and goes downhill from there. This quest chain leads to some of the and is deeply tied in with the Argent Dawn and the timeline of the Scourge invasion. The quest chain culminates in an epic battle that players need a raid party of at least 20 to finish. Either faction can finish this quest, so Horde players are also welcome to help bring justice and put the family ghosts to rest even though they're humans. Blackfathom Deeps
One way to grind rep with the Argent Dawn before players reach level 50 is to visit a dungeon on the other side of the world. The story of how something on the opposite end of another continent became a focus of the Argent Dawn and the Scourge is an interesting one, involving the Twilight's Hammer and everyone's favorite Night Elf queen (thanks, Azshara). There are several quests players can do in this lowbie dungeon to grind Argent Dawn rep, which is designed for players in their 30s and up.
