Animal Crossing 10 Things You Didn t Know About Diana

Fewer Animal Crossing villagers are as snooty and adorable as Diana, but how well do you know her? Here's 10 things you may have missed about her. Diana is one of snooty villagers. She's judgmental, likes to comment on other's fashion sense but underneath all that, she's kind and social. If you're new to Animal Crossing, but don't let that fool you. She can be a mean girl at times and there's something about her that may not be entirely natural. Whether you are new to Animal Crossing or a veteran, there are some things about Diana that are mysterious and you might not have known before. Here are just a few things brought to light. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY

She Wants To Be A Dermatologist

Funny Diana's dream is to be a dermatologist. One might think she would want to do something in the beauty industry, but nope, she wants animals and people have the best skin they can have. Animals also have skin issues, not just fur issues. It's a noble dream and it looks like Diana would be good at it. She obviously takes incredible care of her own skin and if she were human, she would have flawless, beautiful skin.

Her Catch Phrase Is A Play On Herself

Diana's catchphrase "no doy" is obviously a play on "no duh," something a young girl might say often, however it's also a play on the fact that she is a deer or doe. Get it? Doe, Doy? . After all, the original "no duh" is meant to convey something was obvious and the person who said the obvious statement is belittled in some way. Yeah, perfect phrase for this snooty doe.

Her Name Comes From Roman Goddess

Diana is the name of the Roman Goddess taken from the Greek Artemis. She is often associated with the moon and hunting and is the guardian of the forest. A fitting name for the fantastical looking deer. Animal Crossing's Diana looks like a goddess or at least like she belongs in Greek or Roman mythology. Perhaps she is a mythological creature. More on that below.

She Can Have An Old Lady Attitude

If you thought Diana was all hip and chic think again. This pretty lil doe likes to get her granny on every once in a while. ? Her house is well kept together so it's no stretch to assume she wants to keep it in good order, even her lawn. However, eating prunes and yelling at kids to stay off her lawn is too granny-like and not at all what players might expect from her.

She s Got Beef With Flora

What's wrong with Flora, Diana? Snooty villagers not getting along with peppy villagers is a thing in Animal Crossing, so this beef with Flora does make sense. Something about the way peppy villagers make friends easily and have a pretty easy going and fun attitude gets under snooty villagers' skin. Also, Diana's comment is a little prejudice. Flamingos are larger birds, come on Diana. Don't be like that.

She First Appeared In New Leaf

Diana is relatively new to the Animal Crossing world. , she's gained a lot of popularity and is a fan favorite. Whether it's for her decorating tastes or her pretty appearance (does anyone really like her snobby attitude?) she's now a staple in the franchise. If players are only looking to have one doe in the village, it can bee a hard choice to make whether to keep Diana or Fauna. Both are so cute!

She Is The Oldest Of Five Siblings

Is there anyone who would want Diana as an older sister. For the most part, she is kind, however, her judgmental attitude and stand-offish personality make her a little difficult to like let alone admire. If this is the type of character she's setting an example for younger does and bucks, then maybe they're better off learning from someone else. Not that Diana doesn't have her good traits. She is often kind to the player and she takes care of her appearance and living space. That's something little brothers, er bucks, could learn from, god knows.

She Is Skilled In Writing About Pickles

What even? This is a real thing, it's listed under skills in her biography for New Leaf. If this isn't the strangest and most specific skill a person (or animal) can possess then what is? Does she only like to write about pickles? Do her parents own a pickle factory? Maybe she just really likes pickles. Whatever it is, her writing skills could probably be further developed if all she can write about is pickles. Though rich as she is, she probably doesn't need to have a lot of skills.

She s Rich And Flaunts It

Wow, Ok, Diana. Trust fund baby if you ever saw one, right? We mean Nintendo (and frankly all major video game companies) but this seems a little too blunt. Pay to be lazy, that's the way to go. Only someone with a good amount of leaf tickets can afford to be lazy and get what they want right away. Money buys friends and time, after all.

She Is Secretly A Fairy

What if Diana isn't a trust fund baby, though? What if she is able to acquire wealth by thinking into existence. Sounds like fairy magic to us. In Pocket Camp, Diana's camp theme is the fairy forest. It's so her and it kind of makes sense. Out of all the animals, she looks the most otherworldly. Sure, there are some crazy looking animals in the game, but something about her colors and her demeanor seems mystical. Even her name calls back to a moon goddess. Maybe she's more than she lets on.
