Destiny 2 How To Get The Wayfarer Title Before It Gets Vaulted

If you're looking to earn the Wayfarer title in Destiny 2 before content starts being shoved into the vault, this guide will tell you everything! Sunsetting is nothing new in the franchise. was introduced in The Taken King back in the original Destiny to keep loot interesting. Not only is gear sunsetting coming back with Beyond Light, but players might also notice that some planets will disappear as well. As a result, much of content will be unobtainable for an indeterminate amount of time. This also includes titles, special names that appear under a Guardian's alias. Out of all titles, Wayfarer is the most important title players should get. If they miss obtaining some of its Triumphs in the next few weeks, this title will be unobtainable for, potentially, the rest of Destiny 2's lifespan. Here is how to obtain the Wayfarer title in Destiny 2 before it gets vaulted. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY

Obtain The Red War Badge

Via: Most badges in Destiny 2 are a pain to obtain, requiring obscure cosmetic items or rare Exotics to complete. Fortunately, Destiny 2's Red War badge is one of the easiest badges to earn in the game. To complete the Red War badge to earn Wayfarer, players will need the vendor armor set from every Year 1 planet. Players will need to obtain every item in the Gensym Knight, Wildwood, Lost Pacific, and Exodus Down sets. If players are having bad luck with vendor engrams, they can purchase the item outright from the planetary vendor at a certain rank for a small fee.

Obtain The Curse Of Osiris and Warmind Badge

Via: GameSpot Unlike the Red War badge, the Curse of Osiris and Warmind badge is locked behind weeks' worth of grinding. Not only do players need the and armor, but they also need Mercury's Prophecy weapons and Mars's Sleeper Node weapons. Prophecy weapons are given out by Brother Vance in the form of Lost Prophecies. These mini-quests require players to obtain unique resources from various activities to forge a unique Year 1 weapon. As for the unique Mars guns, they are tied to Sleeper Nodes that can only be unlocked with their corresponding Override Frequency. It can take a long time to obtain every weapon in this badge, so players should start grinding out this badge as soon as possible.

Obtain The Forsaken Badge

Forsaken introduced a wide range of new weapons and armor tied to not one but two new locations. Players will need to obtain the weapons and armor from the Tangled Shore and Dreaming City destinations to complete this badge. Tangled Shore armor and weapons can drop from Legendary Engrams with certain weapons being tied to Tangled Shore Lost Sectors. Dreaming City gear drops from any activity completed within the destination, ranging from .

Complete Heroic Adventures

are selected planets that grant powerful gear after completing a series of activities on said planet. Heroic Adventures also become available on the selected planet for the week. To obtain Wayfarer, players will need to complete 5 Heroic Adventures on all Year 1 planets. These include the EDZ, Nessus, Io, Titan, Mercury, and Mars. Since a planet can take up to 7 weeks to become a Flashpoint, players will want to complete these Triumphs as soon as possible or they risk being locked out of earning the Wayfarer title.

Clear Tangled Shore Lost Sectors

Via: -LogicianV- (YouTube) As with most destinations, the Tangled Shore has hidden Lost Sectors that players can explore and . The Tangled Shore has 5 Lost Sectors tied to it, 4 of which are tied to the Wayfarer title. Kingship Dock, Trapper's Cave, Shipyard AWO-43, and Wolfship Turbine are the four Lost Sectors that must be cleared to obtain 4 Triumphs associated with the Wayfarer title. The planet does not need to be a Flashpoint for completions to count.

Clear Io Lost Sectors

Via: IGN Io has three Lost Sectors that players will need to clear out: Sanctum of Bones near The Rupture, Aphix Conduit in The Rupture, and the Grove of Ulan-Tan in Lost Oasis. As with the other Lost Sector clears, players need to defeat the Wanted boss inside the Lost Sector and loot the chest they're guarding. Spider Bounties don't need to be bought or redeemed for the kills to count.

Clear Dreaming City Lost Sectors

"Loved and Lost" is a Triumph tied to the Wayfarer title, requiring players to explore and complete the 3 hidden Lost Sectors in the Dreaming City. These Lost Sectors include the Bay of Drowned Wishes in the Divalian Mists, Aphelion's Rest in The Strand, and the Chamber of Starlight in Rheasilvia. The strength of the curse does not matter for earning the "Loved and Lost" Triumph. Players simply need to find the Lost Sectors and complete them.

Clear EDZ Lost Sectors

Via: u/SteelbiteGaming (Reddit) Compared to other Lost Sector challenges, Lost Sector list is strange. It excludes three Lost Sectors, unlike every other planet where players need to kill every Lost Sector boss and loot the nearby chest. The European Dead Zone has 16 Lost Sectors. Players only have to complete 13 of them. Guardians can safely ignore the Hallowed Grove, Atrium, and Scavenger's Den Lost Sectors.

Clear Mars Lost Sectors

While players will spend much of their time earning gear for one of the badges, the Lost Sector Triumph associated with this planet is incredibly easy to obtain. The Ma'adim Subterrane Lost Sector in the Glacial Drift and the Core Terminus Lost Sector in Braytech Futurescape are the only two Lost Sectors on the planet players need to complete.

Clear Titan Lost Sectors

Via: u/TehSavior (Reddit) Despite Titan's small size, it has 3 Lost Sectors for players to clear out. One Lost Sector can be found in the Siren's Watch named Methane Flush. Both Cargo Bay 3 and DS Quarters-2 can be found in The Rig. Those that want to test their weapons out should take particular note of Cargo Bay 3's boss, who the community jokingly refers to as "Greg." This Ogre is the perfect test dummy to test weapons and builds without having to worry about Power level. Take advantage of it before it leaves the game when Beyond Light retires the play space.

Clear Nessus Lost Sectors

As one of Destiny 2's larger planets, Nessus has 5 Lost Sectors instead of the typical 3 or 4. There is The Rift in the Exodus Black zone, The Carrion Pit in the Glade of Echoes, The Orrery in Artifact's Edge, Ancient's Haunt in The Tangle, and The Conflux in The Cistern. Fortunately, Nessus will not be retired in Year 4 of Destiny 2 so players have plenty of time to clear these Lost Sectors out.

Clear Mercury s Only Lost Sector

There's only one Lost Sector in Mercury: Pariah's Refuge. This Lost Sector resides at the bottom right of the map near the entrance to the Infinite Forest. It is slightly longer than most Lost Sectors, but the enemy Vex inside are nothing noteworthy. Simply take out the boss inside and open the Lost Sector chest to scratch this planet off the long list of Triumphs.
