Destiny 2 How To Get The Reckoner Title Before It Gets Vaulted
For those who want to prepare for the fall expansion of Destiny 2, here is a complete guide on how to obtain the Reckoner title. As most of planets and strikes in the fall, many players are scrambling to obtain as many items from previous years as possible. For completionists that want to obtain everything such as titles, this can be a daunting task. While nothing has been confirmed about how game modes will be affected by the Destiny Content Vault, has confirmed that one mode of Gambit is going to be removed soon. If Bungie chooses Gambit Prime, this can be disastrous for those that want the Reckoner title. If not, the removal of Year 1 content will brick the Thorn questline. For those who want to prepare for the fall expansion, here is a complete guide on how to obtain the Reckoner title. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY Triumphant Collector
Most players will be interested in obtaining the Collector set to hold and deposit 20 Motes at once. Winning a Gambit Prime match with a complete set of Notorious Collector armor equipped will grant the Call Me... Collector Triumph. That isn't the hard part, though. The Triumphant Collector Triumph requires players with a Collector aura to win 10 Gambit Prime matches, deposit 1,000 Motes, summon 100 small Blockers and 40 giant Blockers, and earn 15 Half-Banked Medals—requiring players to deposit 50 Motes in their bank in one game. Coordinating with a fireteam is essential to make sure they're enough Motes to fulfill these objectives. Find other like-minded players to get this completed in a timely fashion. Triumphant Invader
Invading can swing entire Gambit games in one team's favor. Gambit Prime doubled down on this by introducing the Invader set. Players will need to win a Gambit Prime match with a full Notorious Invader set to earn a Triumph, but the Triumphant Invader Triumph is a whole other beast. With an Invader aura active by having 15 Invader points through armor or consumables, players must win 10 Gambit Prime matches, defeat 25 Guardians with their Super while invading, kill 25 Guardians with Snipers and Linear Fusion Rifles, defeat 25 Guardians with Fusion Rifles and Shotguns, obtain 25 Invasion kills with other weapons, and finally drain 100 Motes from the enemy team's bank by standing near it. Bottom tree Dawnblade, top tree Gunslinger, and either top or bottom tree Sunbreaker for taking down enemy players. The Fusion or Shotgun kill requirement can easily be met by using Telesto and trapping enemy portals or their bank using Telesto's bolts. Besides those tips, players should simply focus on invading every chance a portal opens and make sure they designate themselves as the sole invader for the match. Triumphant Sentry
Completing Sentry Triumphs can be frustrating since the set bonuses are so lackluster. Besides winning a match with a full Notorious Sentry set, players will need to get comfortable taking on enemy Invaders and Blockers. Winning 20 Gambit Matches with a Sentry aura is just the start. Players will also need to damage 40 Invaders to mark their location, defeat 200 Blockers, slay 150 Taken after the Primeval spawns, and earn 20 Locksmith Medals by defeating the last summoned blocker three times in a single round. Learning Invader spawns is the best way to get the edge and mark them for the rest of the team. Using Special weapons and even the can do wonders with taking down Taken Blockers that swarm the bank. This is one of the most time-consuming and boring Triumphs to complete, so those who have completed this have seen the worst of what this title demands. Triumphant Reaper
Reaper is easily the best PvE set for Gambit Prime. It might not be as game-changing as the Invader set is, but it offers many benefits that players will need to take full advantage of to obtain the Triumphant Reaper Triumph. Using the Reaper set, players will need to win 20 Gambit Prime matches, defeat 1,000 enemies, slay 50 high-value targets, defeat 100 Blockers and envoys, and earn 10 Massacre Medals by slaying 12 enemies in a short timeframe. Take advantage of the free Special ammo that spawns from damaging multiple enemies at once. , Telesto, or a Masterworked Trinity Ghoul to massively improve the efficiency of clearing each wave. Also, take note of the methods of transportation on each map such as portals to maximize time spent slaying enemies. Jokers Wild Badge
Compared to other badges that other titles require, the Reckoner badge is relatively straightforward. This badge requires every set of Notorious Gambit Prime armor as well as every Gambit Prime and Reckoning weapon. To obtain the armor, players will need to deposit Synthesized Motes in Reckoning. Tier 3 Reckoning is needed to obtain Notorious armor. For the weapons, players can find nearly everything in Gambit Prime except the Reckoning-exclusive Just In Case Sword and Doomsday Grenade Launcher. However, Reckoning has much better drop rates for guns if players need to quickly farm out this badge. Tier 2 is typically easier, but tier 3 is a breeze with a coordinated team that takes out the mini-bosses during the bridge encounter. Acquire Thorn
Unless Bungie reworks part of the Thorn quest, the main questline for Thorn is going to become impossible to complete when Beyond Light launches this fall. In essence, players can either partake in Crucible matches or complete bounties to progress Thorn's questline. Towards the end of the quest, players will need to complete a special rendition of "Savathun's Song" on Titan, a strike that is going to be retired in the fall. Since The Hated Path Triumph requires players to obtain Thorn, players should obtain it now while they still can. While it's unlikely that Thorn will be unobtainable this fall, the quest will likely be bugged or acquiring the gun will not complete this Triumph for the first few months of the expansion. It's better to be safe and get it now. Complete Flawless Tier 3 Reckoning
It wouldn't be a proper title if Reckoning didn't ask for a flawless completion of something. Since no in Season of the Drifter, Bungie instead made the title require players to defeat both of Tier 3 Reckoning's bosses without dying. The two bosses in question are the Likeness of Oryx and Sword Knights. Oryx is a simple fight that requires players to burst him down when he channels a wipe mechanic. For the Sword Knights, players must defeat a unique enemy at once section of the room to DPS the bosses. Bring a Ward of Dawn or Well of Radiance to stay alive. It also isn't a bad idea to wait for Heavyweight to be the daily modifier to quickly kill each boss. Only the player needs to stay alive for the flawless attempt to count. Set A Reckoning Time Trial
Swift Reckoning requires players to complete a time trial of tier 3 Reckoning. This simply means players need to complete a run of tier 3 Reckoning successfully. The Triumph will then set a time that the player can try to beat in the future. With that said, tier 3 Reckoning is still tough. Focus on any Major foes and bring good Special and Heavy weapons to take down enemies before they can knock the fireteam out of the map. Get Recked Triumph
No matter how a Reckoning run is going, those going for the Reckoner title will be happy to know that they're always making progress towards the Get Recked Triumph. This Triumph asks players to defeat 1,000 Shadow Thrall, defeat enemies with 250 precision final blows, and kill 150 powerful enemies. By the time players have obtained flawless tier 3 Reckoning, this Triumph will likely be finished as well. If not, using Nightstalker's Shadowshot Super or can make this Triumph finish much faster.
