Gallery: Square Enix Releases New Dragon Quest Treasures Screens From Its Trove Nintendo Life Venture into Draconia this December by Share: Image: Square Enix After the release of a in May, we have been getting increasingly excited to join 's Erik and Mia on an adventure into Draconia when the game is released on . To whip us up even further, Square Enix has released a trove of new screenshots showing off the upcoming game and the kind of characters we can expect to meet along the way. The images give a great look at Erik and Mia's interactions with their new companions, Purrsula and Porcus, as well as hinting at some of the titular treasures that you can expect to find as you journey through the magical realm of Draconia. Looks pretty good. When are we getting Dragon Quest Builders 3? Looks fun... ... but so did DQ11. And then I actually played it - yuck. What a bad and mediocre experience that was. Not sure why people are hyping that one up so much. Pretty hyped for this. Feels like a evolution of the Monsters spin-offs. Because DQ 11 was one of the best-selling entries in the series and built upon everything the series had done up to that point. I'm not saying you need to like it but a DQ spinoff game with characters from the very popular 11, is a no-brainer. I wanna play this gameeee! you can't really talk about mediocre disappointments when you have an avatar based on the Sonic games lol
You really should give Dragon Quest XI a try or maybe Builders 2. Yes I am more excited now for Treasures. Seems like there are rival treasure hunters. Oldschool plots like find the seven crystals are still nice. Maybe it's treasure in this case. Sure I can. Both Sonic Adventures, the classic Sonic games and even Sonic Rush and Unleashed are all praised games. ... but yes, the last ten years of Sonic have been awful. I might try the Dragon Quest XI demo soon Different preferences. DQ XI is one of the best in the series but if DQ doesn’t resonate with you XI wasn’t going to change your mind. For DQ fans the series has been going from strength to strength. Looks really good and can't wait to play it, it's giving off massive dragon quest monsters vibes Looks gorgeous. Increasingly becoming interested in grabbing this. tradition dragon quest games can be too much for people not used to 80-100 hour turn based games so if that's not the kind of game you usually play then I'd reccomend starting with dragon quest builders or heroes. Then if you like the presentation, character and monster designs etc then give the main games a try It's always the same dude making the same whiny comments about DQ11 under every Dragon Quest article lol. That aside game looks good and I'm looking forward to it. I enjoy a good long RPG then dragon quest 11s would be perfect, I highly reccomend it along with persona 5 roayal when it releases. Indeed. I shared the same experience, and this one is looking to be no different. Those pixel remasters, however... NINJA APPROVED (the pixel remasters, not this stuff) Looks good. I'll get it! I love the look of this, but I hope it's more difficult than the Dragon Quest Builders games. Unlimited healing kills for me all the fun in games. I thought Erik and Mia's relationship was the most touching story in a game full of brilliant storylines, so I'm pleased to see them return. The main sidekick - Yangus, Erik - always tends to be the best character in Dragon Quest. I did play one earlier before.. Curse of the King, or something? On 3DS at any rate. I did like that one but I never finished it, although I can't remember why. That would be Dragon Quest VIII - Journey of the Cursed King. I'm a little confused though, that you liked that one, as DQ XI is basically DQ VIII 2.0. I can't remember much of it though, not even how far I've gotten.. But I guess the DQ series just isn't for me Lowkey one of the best looking games this year. Love me some Dragon Quest. ENOUGH OF THE BS GAMES LETS GO 12 Looks really good, SE is on fire this year, love it. Why am I expecting this to become a neverending microtransactions fest?
